Shipping & Returns
- Returns
Customer must notify Altered Customs within 24 hours of the receipt of the product to request a refund. Package contents must NOT have been opened from original shipping material. Altered Customs will not accept returns without prior authorization. Altered Customs must receive your returned merchandise tracking number within 3 days from the date that the product was delivered to the customer in order to receive a refund. If the above return method request is not followed, no refund will be given and package will be refused and returned to sender.
Customer is solely responsible for shipping any returned product to Altered Customs. Customer agrees to use only reputable carriers capable of providing tracking, proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment. Customer agrees to bear all shipping charges and all risk of loss for the return product during shipment. Original Shipping and Handling Fees of the product are NOT refundable, in all circumstances. As we offer shipping in which the cost is factored into the purchase price, 15% of the purchase price will be calculated for the shipping/handling/restocking costs in the event of a refund.
Altered Customs will not accept any part of the returned product(s) that does not have original packaging, is used, or damaged.
- Shipping Damage
It is possible that products may be damaged during shipping processes. Please open and inspect your package for physical damage immediately before you let the driver go. Report all physical damage to the driver, and have them clearly mark the Bill of Lading (shipping invoice) before signing. Visible shipping damage must be reported immediately and photos must be sent to us by email. Altered Customs will not be held responsible for any damages reported after 24 hours of receiving the package.
- Sales Tax
Sales tax is only required for orders shipping within the state of Georgia. All orders shipping within Georgia will be charged the applicable sales tax according to your area's tax rate.
